As independent consultants, we act solely in your best interest. We help you navigate technical and commercial complexities, ensure compliance with Australian standards and secure better value from service providers.

Do You Provide Technical Inspections or Performance Audits?

Yes. We conduct thorough inspections and audits to assess safety, performance, maintenance quality and regulatory compliance. Our reports are designed to support informed decision-making. We will provide you with a report that details the condition of the equipment, photographic support as provide an itemised defect list for you to utilise in discussions with your maintenance service provider. We can also manage the defect rectification process on your behalf.

Can You Help Us Prepare for a Maintenance Contract Renewal or Market Tender?

Absolutely, this is one of our specialities. We have developed a performance-based specification that is tried and tested. However, we will work with you to define the site specific scope, documentation, supplier evaluation and negotiation to ensure transparency and competitive outcomes.

Are Your Services Available Outside of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane?

Yes. While we are based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, we provide consultancy services all across Australia. Remote support and site visits can be arranged depending on your location and project needs.

How Do You Charge for Your Services?

Our fees are based on project scope and complexity. We offer fixed-price proposals or hourly rates, depending on your preference. All pricing is transparent and agreed upon upfront.

Do You Offer Compliance Advice for Australian Standards and Regulations?

Yes. We ensure your vertical transport systems meet relevant Australian standards, including AS 1735 and help you stay compliant with safety and accessibility requirements.

When Should I Start Planning for Modernisation of My Elevator or Escalator?

The best time to plan for the modernisation of your elevator or escalator is when it’s still running. Elevators and escalators have a design life which varies depending on the product, the application, how well it is maintained, how often it is used and how well it is cared for by users. Generally though, a well designed and maintained elevator or escalator will operate for 20-25 years before it needs to be modernised or replaced. Given the significant investment required, Elevating Studio recommends to have a 10 year capital plan or a the vest least a 5 year plan.
